This first version of this guide focuses on the states of Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. The species in this guide are also common in the surrounding states of Kansas, Iowa, and Minnesota. Updates will continue to add species so all of the prairie region of North America (Texas to North Dakota) is covered.
Over 30 species are listed with several of the interesting subspecies included as well.
